Kathleen J. Abendroth, PhD, CCC-SLP, BSC-CL, is a Clinical Supervisor at the University of Louisiana (UL) at Lafayette. She earned her BA in American Politics at the University of Virginia, then returned to graduate school to study Communicative Disorders at UL Lafayette. As an SLP over the last 13 years, she has worked with children ages 3 to 18 and has a passion for working in Title I school settings. Dr. Abendroth has published and presented research related to autism spectrum disorders, language impairment, and literacy. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and dogs.
