Welcome new Specialist: Maureen Staskowski, PhD, CCC-SLP, BCS-CL
Maureen Staskowski is the Speech, Language, and Literacy Consultant for Macomb ISD. She leads augmentative communication and assistive technology efforts, developing training and credentialing and consulting with staff regarding implementation. She also leads the Macomb Dyslexia Network and other professional development for speech, language, and learning disabilities. She works regularly with speech-language pathologists and teachers to improve evidence-based service delivery and curriculum-relevant practices for oral and written language. She has served on several national and state committees related to speech, language, reading, and writing and has presented and published on these topics.
