Welcome new Specialist: Joan N. Kaderavek, PhD, CCC-SLP (Retired), BCS-CL
For 20+ years Joan focused on researching and writing about the relationship between children’s language development and early literacy development. More recently, however, she has focused on the contribution of science inquiry on young children’s classroom discourse and high-level thinking, talking, and problem solving. Speech language pathologists who work in schools have much to contribute to enhancing STEM learning.
