Dr. Sheri Tracy Bayley, PhD, CCC-SLP, BCS-CL, is an assistant professor and undergraduate coordinator of Speech-Language Pathology at Nevada State University. A proud first-generation college student, she completed her BA double-majoring in Linguistics and Communicative Disorders and MS in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and later her PhD from Florida State University. Her scholarship has primarily focused on preparing professionals to support young neurodivergent children in their language and communication development. She currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses as well as supervises students in the campus clinic. She enthusiastically promotes dynamic language assessment, strengths-based instruction, active engagement, and neurodiversity affirming supports.
