Reed is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, and an Assistant Professor at DeSales University. He specializes in pediatric speech and language disorders, with particular emphasis on neurodiversity-affirming services for autistic clients. He is passionate about interprofessional collaboration, school-based service delivery, and advocacy. Reed's clinical experience includes settings such public schools ranging from pre-K to high schools, pediatric outpatient clinics, and clinical supervision at the DeSales University Speech and Language Clinic. He is an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Pennsylvania Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and he previously served as Vice President for Governmental and Professional Affairs for the Speech-Language-Hearing Association of Virginia. He currently serves as an Editorial Board Member for the journal "Language, Speech, and Hearing Services in Schools."
