Rebecca Landa, PhD, CCC-SLP, BCS-CL

Rebecca Landa, PhD, CCC-SLP, BCS-CL, is Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Autism and Related Disorders at Kennedy Krieger Institute and is Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Landa obtained her doctorate from the University of Washington. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Psychiatric Genetics at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Landa has practiced clinically in public schools, university clinics, and hospital settings. She consults with schools, universities, and families internationally to establish state-of-the-science educational and speech-language pathology programming for children with, or at risk for, communication disorders. Dr. Landa takes a translational science and public health approach in her measure development, early detection, developmental science, intervention science, and implementation science research and Bundle of Learning® initiative. She participates in policy-related efforts to improve health care and education for children with, or at risk for, communication disorders. She has received numerous prestigious awards, such as ASHA Honors of the Association, INSAR Fellow, and the Campbell-Callier prize.
