Laurence B. Leonard is Rachel E. Stark Distinguished Professor in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Purdue University. He teaches and does research in the area of Childhood Language Disorders. His current research efforts are devoted to discovering better ways to facilitate the word learning of 4- and 5-year-olds with developmental language disorder.
