Karla McGregor, PhD, is a speech-language pathologist with Board Certification in Child Language. Her research, funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation, focuses on Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), a prevalent neurodevelopmental condition that limits language learning, comprehension, and use. As an advocate of DLD awareness, she was the U.S. representative to RADLD-International. She was a founding member and is now the current director of DLDandMe.org and RADLD-USA. Dr. McGregor is a senior research scientist at Boys Town National Research Hospital where she also serves as the senior director of the Center for Childhood Deafness, Language and Learning.
