Judith O. Roman, SLPD, CCC-SLP, BCS-CL
Judy Roman is a clinical faculty member at Northwestern University, where she maintains a clinical caseload while educating graduate student clinicians. She teaches both in-person undergraduate and online post-Baccalaureate phonetics courses. She holds ASHA Board Certification in Child Language, specializing in language disorders with toddlers through early-school aged children. She earned her SLPD degree, which included meta-analysis research on the relationship between developmental language disorders and motor skills; and research related to facilitating graduate student observation skills. She completed a fellowship year at NU on teaching and learning, with a final project focus on redefining mid-term grading for graduate student clinicians. She has completed an NDTA eight-week pediatric course, learning about treating motor disorders.
