Even before graduating as an SLP, I always had a passion to work with the pediatric population. I have spent my career as an SLP working with pediatrics in outpatient clinics, home health, early intervention, and in schools. My current work is at UCP of Central Florida, an inclusive charter school that has a medical outpatient therapy clinic at each campus. In my current position as a Speech Therapy Clinical Advisor, not only do I get to evaluate and treat children with language disorders, but I also have the joy of mentoring and supervising young professionals and students to support their growth as clinicians. My goal is to support children with language disorders any way possible. If I am not able to work with them directly, I strive to support other clinicians by providing access to high-quality clinical support, resources, and collaborative problem-solving opportunities. I know with the right supports every child can unlock their full potential to communicate and my greatest joy is seeing each child grow and succeed!
