Courtney Seidel, MS, CCC-SLP, BCS-CL
Courtney Seidel, MS, CCC-SLP, BCS-CL, is a clinical professor and speech-language pathologist with a teaching appointment at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since 2015. A dedicated educator and clinician, she specializes in child language disorders, diagnostics, school-based services, and the assessment of culturally and linguistically diverse children.
Courtney is a Board Certified Specialist in Child Language and has earned recognition for her contributions to the field, including being named Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist of the Year and receiving the ASHFoundation Clinical Achievement Award. She has provided expert consultation to Wisconsin school districts and contributed to numerous statewide task forces for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. A sought-after speaker, Courtney has delivered numerous invited and peer-reviewed presentations at state and national conferences. She is also a co-author of two influential resources, A Guide to School Services in Speech-Language Pathology (5th edition) and Best Practice in Special Education: Teaching Students with Communication Disorders. With a passion for advancing practices in speech-language pathology, Courtney remains committed to bridging research and practice.
