Beth Newsome is a licensed and certified school-based speech-language pathologist serving students in southeastern Ohio. Beth received a Bachelor of Science in Hearing and Speech Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Ohio University in 1998. In 2000, she received a Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. She has worked at Head Start programs, public and private preschools, elementary, middle, and high schools, and home-based services. She works at Greenfield Exempted Village providing direct and consultative services to students between PreK through 5th who have language-based learning disorders, articulation and phonological deficits, hearing loss, autism spectrum disorders, and profound intellectual disabilities. Beth consults with literacy specialists, administrators, intervention specialists, regular education teachers, and parents concerning FBA/BIP process, MTSS, and evidence-based instructional practices regarding language and literacy.
