Barbara Culatta, PhD, CCC-SLP, BCS-CL
Barbara Culatta, professor emerita from Brigham Young University, completed doctoral work from the University of Pittsburgh and a post-doctoral fellowship from Johns Hopkins University. In addition to university teaching, she has held full time clinical positions in public school and a comprehensive rehabilitation center for children and youth. Dr. Culatta has written articles, chapters, and books on language and literacy interventions. She directed federally-funded language intervention projects. She is the director of an early literacy project, SEEL (Systematic and Engaging Early Literacy; education.byu.edu/seel), that offers free web-based early literacy resources.
