Since their oldest son’s diagnosis with a rare genetic duplication disorder in 2013, Amanda and Jorge Vasquez have traveled the road of advocacy together. Through careful research, peer networking, the support of experienced professionals, and the collective belief that their child deserved every opportunity to communicate at his highest potential, Amanda and Jorge have worked relentlessly to stay true to their core mission. In their spare time, they enjoy spending time with their three sons, family, and their canine companions, Hoopa and Diesel. They love being outdoors, staying active, and volunteering within their community. Amanda and Jorge look forward to providing a representative voice for the many families who continue to tirelessly advocate for their own children.
